“Quite simply the best renditions of my brother’s material that I have heard!” Bob Young, Neil Young's brother
"The Unknown Legends", fronted by Frank Wilks, is considered one of the world’s premier Neil Young tribute bands. Wilks has been performing Young’s music for more than 20 years. In 1984, he teamed up with two of the original members of Buffalo Springfield - Bruce Palmer (bass) and Dewey Martin (drums) along with Stan Endersby (guitar) - and formed "Buffalo Springfield Revisited" with Wilks as lead vocalist. The band toured Canada and the U.S. extensively for six years appearing before audiences of up to 50,000. They also appeared with such bands as "Iron Butterfly" and the "Guess Who". "The Unknown Legends", formerly " White Buffalo", is continuing this tradition since 1993 in Canada.
